The game takes place in the Misrid region, where there are many unique mazes on the ground, underground and even under water. Remastered graphics give dungeon tracking a more realistic feel.
When the hero returns from a maze, he is greeted at the Dragon Inn by a group of characters, all with unique personalities. The atmosphere here is cheerful, fun and sometimes even serious. Use Demon Gaze to hunt for Android-like lifestyles known as Demons. Demons are android-like creatures that suddenly appeared in Misrid, and when they release their true power, they reveal even more vicious abilities. If you defeat these Maze Masters, you will gain unique abilities for each Demon’s personality.
You can also use the Open Demon command to summon them to take part in the battle. I really like the battle and class system. This game has my second favorite “summoning” system, surpassed only by Final Fantasy X. The balance is pretty meh, leaning heavily on physical damage. Even the wizard becomes nothing more than a support in the end, and trying to use it for damage even at the beginning of the game is a headache. The artifact system allows for decent customization of the characters, so be sure to offer artifact jewelry in demonic circles. Use the guide above to save specific artifacts if this is your bag.
