Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising combines an exciting adventure through ancient ruins with the story of the resurgence of an ash city. What begins as a simple treasure hunt turns into a dark conspiracy that will shake the world and plant seeds that will be transferred to the main story of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The game will feature a part of the cast of Eiyuden Chronicle characters in an original story with exciting action and interesting elements to enhance the city.
I’m an old player, I played before Suikoden 1. This game is not a very great game, but it gives me that feeling of nostalgia. I didn’t have much hope in this game, because we all know that this is just a complimentary game for next year’s Eiyuuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The battle is awkward, I thought it would be like Dust: An Elysian Tail, but I was wrong.
There are no flashy or mechanical moves on the battlefield, this game is like an old-fashioned SNES game recreated with current technology, hitting, jumping, dodging, rinsing and repeating. Even after you have the 2º and 3º characters, it’s still basically the same, except you can use the combo by pressing different buttons. But I will continue to play this game, because it evokes that feeling of nostalgia that I always try to find when I play any game. today. And I’m sure the story will continue to introduce some tradition about the main game, which I’ll buy no matter what, next year.
