Sillage Overview:
In Sillage, you wake up suffering from amnesia after a terrible accident and go on an adventure. Get ready to fight both in the air and on earth and explore the ruins of the old world. At a high level, this game is primarily a mixture of “finding the right item” and solving various mind-blowing puzzles throughout the game, which is quite typical of this genre. Some of the mind’s puzzles can be complex and probably require at least a high school or high school mind to figure out.
The puzzles of the mind are mainly to maneuver various objects in a small space to get the desired configuration. As an adult, I found the game challenging enough. I had to stop a few times and come back with new thoughts another day to go through some areas. At one point I got stuck and gave in and looked for a clue online (don’t worry, there are no spoilers ahead), only to realize I was just stuck because I made a wrong assumption about an object.
This game is one of the most kid-friendly point-and-click adventure games I’ve ever seen. And I’m not saying that because the game is simple. The game definitely has some tough parts that will require a mature brain to figure out. But it’s good if you have a preschooler who just wants to see how you play. There is no text to read throughout the game. All communication is done through animated cloud bubbles, so no reading is required. Achievements are very simple. They basically represent various milestones throughout the game, which are impossible to lose as you progress. Therefore, if you complete the game you will have all the achievements.
