Space Dragons Overview:
Choose your spaceship and defeat the alien threat coming from the moon. Make your way by crushing, smashing and exploiting hostile aliens who are taking control of Earth’s powerful weapons and military technology. Look for the entity that controls the threat and causes it to explode in blood. Space Dragons is a classic “shoot em up” horizontal shooting game, in which you can choose different ships with unique features and abilities to destroy tons of invading aliens. During the adventure you will encounter powerful bosses and explosive enemies.
Get upgrades for your ship, weapons, and more to cross the fleshy, bloody path that awaits you in Space Dragons. At least for now you start with two characters / ships to choose from and you can unlock two more. Each has its own characteristics (attack, health and speed) and a unique special attack. Do you have to pick up chips? to boost your special attack. During boss fights you can still collect these tokens by knocking down (small) enemies and projectiles fired by bosses.
Space Dragons is the second (horizontal) shmup of TEAM Black Hat Robot. It looks somewhat artistically similar to Q-Yo Blaster, its first shmup, but has a different theme and new gameplay mechanics. The main thing is that your gun can overheat and your rate of fire drops while it cools down. It’s a little annoying that you have to watch your weapon bar but it’s different and I like that. Another mechanic is execution, a move you can perform when an enemy blinks. After a successful execution, the enemy drops a health point, it is also good to score.
