However, I have been a big fan of this series since the first installment in 2001, which means I grew up with Valnar, Asgar and Alaine. The characters are very complex and so is this dark story about vampires, losses and tragedies. Asgar is probably my favorite character; he is sarcastic, evil, and utterly insane. It is easy to identify with Valnar as he seems to be the most well-founded protagonist and is quite open to his emotions. Alaine is our smart and strong female protagonist and I can’t help but feel sympathy for her background story. We will meet many more interesting characters in this game and each has its own agenda.
A few years ago I was looking for a dark horror role-playing game and I found this game and bought it without realizing that there was no English translation although it looked like it was coming (now there is an unofficial one). When I realized I couldn’t play this game in English, I moaned and looked good and then watched the series more. Then I found and played Vampires Dawn 2 for free with a very good English translation.
I will try to keep this critique brief because I tend to digress a lot. Vampires Dawn 2 was a free RPG creation game in the mid 2000’s that really did a lot of awesome things even though a person’s gameplay could be tricked and trapped, I didn’t and yes. The characters were very interesting and I liked how the game was. I finished it and was satisfied.
